Journey to Hell has you defending against the end of the world. Is the journey worth your time? Find out in our review!
Journey to Hell is all about the combat. Players will shoot their way through all kinds of overweight, acid spitting, slow moving demons in order to reach their next objective. The gameplay is simplistic, but this is a good thing. Objectives pop up on the in game HUD and when the objective has been completed, a new one emerges. Most of them involve surviving and then reaching a new objective until you reach the big bad at the end of the level. There are 10 levels in the game and also a hunt mode that offers tons of replay ability. The touch controls are responsive but the in game HUD is too crowed. There were many times where I tried to turn the camera around but instead I fired my gun, wasting bullets. Despite this issue, the gameplay is enjoyable.
Is it to late to throw it back?
Journey to Hell is more than I expected from a mobile game app. The graphics are great and the gameplay is creepy fun. While the enemies share a startling resemblance to other zombies and monsters form other games, the overall experience is still fun. This is one journey that I have no problem recommending.
I wonder if these zombies were left for dead?
