Mobile version getting some add-ons

The Pokemon Company has made some updates to the mobile version of the Pokemon Home application. The Pokemon Home application is available on Mobile devices as well as the Nintendo Switch. For those who don't know, Pokemon Home is similar to Pokemon Box that was released on the Nintendo GameCube so many years ago. You can connect all your Pokemon games that have save files on your Switch and store Pokemon on there, thus the similarity to Pokemon Box.

The first add-on to the mobile application is the Pokemon Guidebook. This feature is basically a Pokedex page for every Pokemon, regardless of if you have the Pokemon registered to the Pokedex in Pokemon Home. A nice fearure here is if you don't have it registered, Home will tell you what game the Pokemon is available so you can go catch it. Information about Pokémon include their Pokédex entries, types, sizes, forms, and more.

Another new add-on is that you can get special Pokemon as rewards for completing Pokedex entries for an entire region such as Paldea. That being said, trainers who finish their Paldea, Kitakami, and Blueberry Pokedex in those games will be rewarded with a shiny Meloetta.

To receive this Pokémon, Trainers must complete each Pokédex, then confirm your completion in the Games tab of Pokémon HOME. If the player has already completed each Pokédex, they’re still eligible to receive the Shiny Meloetta. Be aware that to receive Mystery Gifts, the player must have a linked Nintendo Account, and each Mystery Gift can only be received once per Nintendo Account.
