With Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag being revealed recently, it got me thinking about the top 5 pirates in TV and video games that you shouldn't take seriously
Number 3- Admiral Bobbery, Paper Mario, The 1,000 Year Door
First things first, he is a former ship captain with no arms. Let that sink in for a moment, he was a captain, who drives a ship, with NO arms. Second of all, he has only one eye or so it looks like he has an implied eye patch. Along with the hat and steering wheel he has attached to himself, he is a bad-ass. Intangible check, his wife dies while he’s out at sea so his back-story check outs for being a pirate. Pirates need a back-story to give them that extra something. The reason why he isn’t taken seriously his appearance for one. Another Nintendo character that has a giant moustache. Another “intangible” for the Admiral is what comes out of his mouth sometimes. He is a walking elderly cliché. Combine that with the Admiral being passed off as a British Pirate Bob-omb and you have all the reasoning you need to put him on this list. Number 3- Admiral Bobbery
