The death throes of a gaming titan.
Resident Evil 6 is a somewhat difficult game to review. Being a fan of the series since it's debut in 1996 I've been pretty disappointed with the more action oriented games like 5 and now 6. I'm not sure why Capcom continues to attempt to make their largest franchises more mainstream, alienating casual players who don't have any attachment to the series and scorning their hardcore fans by providing a lackluster representation of the series they love.
