It should be the year of Nintendo Direct rather than the year of Luigi.
More information about Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D was mentioned. The ideas behind the new stages were said to be based on the stages in the original DKCR. The levels will have something different than the Wii version such as new platforms or an obstacle where there wasn’t an obstacle before. Should be interesting to see how the game plays on May 24th.
Animal Crossing: New Leaf will be here before you know it and Nintendo has come up with a way to keep you from going crazy. They have come up with videos from the Nintendo Tree house Localization team talking about the game. You will be able to see these on the Nintendo web site or the Nintendo Youtube page. There will also be a new puzzle in the Mii Plaza as well as a Swap Pass note related to Animal Crossing so stay tuned.
Game and Wario, the newest game in the WarioWare franchise, will be here before you know it and a few of the multiplayer mini games were revealed. Island, which only uses the Game Pad to play, can be played with 2-5 players. Each player tries to shoot “Fronks” onto the island in a strategic manner. Players can go for points or to knock the other players Fronks off the island. This type of competition could equal Mario Kart feuds in college where you get hit with the Blue Shell at the last minute and lose in Baby Park and then break the controller on your foot. Sorry, got off topic there.
Another mini game is called Patchwork and stars the twins Cat and Anna. You use the touch screen on the Game Pad to pay patch pieces in just the right place to form pictures. Kung Fu, on the other hand, has you controlling a ninja and using the TV and the Game Pad for direction. However, you need to look at both the Game Pad and the TV to see what holes to jump in and which ones to avoid. Game and Wario is set to release June 23rd for 40 dollars.
