Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment brings DC Entertainment's biggest super heroes together in brawler Injustice: Gods Among Us.
“We designed these costumes to be a lot more dimensional,” said Boon. “We have armor and all these things we couldn’t normally represent with our old engine. Now we can show those kinds of details and keep the action moving incredibly fast.”
Also adding something new to the mix is that each character uses the meters at the bottom of the screen in different ways. They build up the meters and then unleash differing attacks that impact everything from the fighting style to how they interact with the beautiful, destructible environments. For Wonder Woman, it changes fighting styles. For Grundy, it adds a bunch of grapple moves. Like almost everything else designed in Injustice, this adds uniqueness to the fight and separates this game from all of the other fighters. And at the core of this enhanced fighting experience is Unreal Engine 3, powering Gods Among Us.
