Is a trip to the Kalos region to be a Pokemon master worth your time?

Another addition to training is the Pokemon-Amie feature which is similar to getting your Pokemon groomed. You play with your Pokemon. You can pet your Pokemon. You can even call out its name and see it react. You can also feed it Poke-Puffs which will make it happier and full. There are mini games that you can play with multiple members of your Pokemon team and that way, all three get enjoyment and filling the Pokemon-Amie sections doesn’t take nearly as long. Players will have to work hard in Pokemon-Amie to get their hands on a Sylveon, the newest addition to the Eevee family. Only time will tell if this method of Poke-interaction becomes the next contest battles or the Pokemon Musicals.

Now for my favorite addition, better online play and interaction. Nintendo has been hit or miss in a lot of their attempts to have online play in their games. At times it looks like they have figured it out, mostly with Pokemon. X and Y might be the first step in Nintendo finally looking like they have a plan in their online play. The Player Search System or P.S.S. allows players to keep a record of who they’ve interacted with online. This could range from online friends having a battle to a wonder trade acquaintance recording. The Wonder Trade is my favorite online feature in X and Y. All you have to do is connect to the internet and then select Wonder Trade and you’ll find yourself trading for a random Pokemon with a random person. You have no idea what Pokemon will be coming back from the trade. People like me who don’t have many people in the neighborhood that play Pokemon, random anything is always welcomed.
