New set and game mechanic coming soon
Pokemon trainers won't have to wait long to shiny hunt in the newest set for Pokemon TCG Pocket. The Shining Revelry set will see the addition of shiny Pokemon as well as ranked matches against other trainers. Set your reminder because the new set comes out on March 27 which is next week. There will be brand new cards coming into the TCG Pocket realm like Charizard ex, Lucario ex, and Pachirisu. Tatsugiri, Sprigatito, and Iono will also be added to the app so be on the lookout for those cards.
Beginning April 1, players can look forward to obtaining a Shiny Charizard-themed display board and binder to showcase their favorite cards. Furthermore, to celebrate the launch, new ex Starter Deck missions will run from March 27–April 26, allowing players to earn a deck ticket, which can be exchanged for a starter deck. Ranked matches will also launch on March 27, where Trainers can battle players of similar skill levels and earn an emblem based on their end-of-season rank for display on their profile. The first season, featuring Shining Revelry, will be available from March 27 to April 26.
