Fans of the show may like it, but it's too dull and uninventive.
The game doesn't even have the benefit of lively host Regis Philbin. Instead, we get some no-name dude that makes odd comments before each question and answer. It just looks like he'd rather be somewhere else.
The main game will only take you about an hour or two to get through before you start running into repeat questions, and even the addition of extra question packs can't liven things up, as they're mostly general movie questions. Where's that video game trivia pack we got with the video game version of Trivial Pursuit we got so long ago? It's not anywhere in sight here.
Millionaire's presentation is like the show, but doesn't do anything to really "pop" out on the screen. The music is also yawn-worthy, and, like we said, that host doesn't exactly make the most candid comments. "Take your time," he states, even though he peers at you like crazy until you answer.
