Even with mild issues, this is a must for role-playing fans.
Along with the original Kingdom Hearts, the package also includes Re:Chain of Memories, which originally made its debut on the Game Boy Advance. This version is based more on the PS2 version, and it's been converted over well, too. It's a nice continuation for the series, even though Kingdom Hearts II is sorely missing. We'll probably see a release for it somewhere down the road, I'm guessing.
Also included is Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, which came out for the DS. Well, it's not really the full game, per se, mainly because it's only available in viewing mode. Still, if you're a fan of the series, you probably won't complain. It's got its own little story to tell, and it's worth indulging in.
While Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix isn't quite the complete package – and could've used a little more work where that camera system is concerned – it's a must-own for both newcomers and long-time fans of the series. Plus, priced at $39.99, it provides the right amount of discovery and wonder for the price. You know, like a good Disney product should.
