Disney's new Fantasyland is now open, for the largest expansion in the history of Magic Kingdom park, offering more immersive enchantment and interactive experiences. The expansion presents more Disney characters and stories in rich detail using some innovative technology.

Senior Creative Director Chris Beatty talks about the vision of bringing the Fantasyland expansion to life utilizing technology and innovation to immerse guests within an interactive world with popular characters from Beauty & The Beast and Little Mermaid. Story telling plays a big part in some of the magic which Disney imparts with it's guests. Meeting the aspirations of the guest is top priority for Disney and immersing them within the story is essential to creating the magic we've grown to love. Fantasyland delivers on these expectations in a big way by recreating these stories in a realistic environment. The Enchanted Tales attraction transports guest into the world of Beauty & The Beast where guests interact with characters Lumiere & Madame Armoire (The Wardrobe).

Within the creation Fantasyland Mine Ride Disney Imagineers have the ability to design the coaster in great detail before it's built. Previsulizing the staging, effects and making attractions like the Cave as immersive as possible. This advancement in Tablet technology allows Imagineers to visualize, ride the coaster, make any changes to the design and maximize the fun factor before it's built. Technology has become a tool for Disney Imagineers to literally bring their imagination to life.
