Can you defeat the streak in WWE 2K14?
The Streak is a new mode that is tucked away in the 30 Years of WrestleMania mode for WWE 2K14. This new mode allows you to both defend and attempt to defeat the Undertaker’s undefeated Streak at WrestleMania. Many have attempted this feat and many have fallen at the feet of the Deadman.
In “Defeat The Streak” mode, you are tasked with the challenge of placing a wrinkle in the Undertaker’s phenomenal undefeated Streak at WrestleMania. As expected, this is no easy task. Not only do you have to defeat the Undertaker in his yard, you also have to do so on an advanced difficulty setting. This mode features a special difficulty mode beyond the hardest setting to truly recreate the power and presence of the Undertaker at WrestleMania. This is not all this mode has in store for the challenger.
WrestleMania has often served as Undertaker’s Holy Grail. Once a year he drinks from the cup of immortality that is WrestleMania by feasting on the soul of his opponent and he survives to return another year. Just as his magical urn has given him power for decades, the full force of the Undertaker’s supernatural abilities will be on display in the match. Imagine relieving WrestleMania 29’s battle between CM Punk and the Undertaker. You are a fan of the Second City Saint, and you want to rewrite history and have Punk end the Streak. Imagine taking all that the Undertaker has, finding your opening, and finally hitting him with the GTS. Just as Undertaker falls to the ground, the lights in the area go black. Then, the ominous gong sounds and the lights turn back on. Undertaker is now directly behind you and when you turn around he delivers a tombstone straight to hell! Supernatural abilities like these will be on display in the matches to make it that much harder to defeat the Streak.
