Despite some graphic hiccups, Capcom's third go-around with zombies should be fun.
However, not everything is perfect with this build of the game. It slows down a bit often, even if there's hardly anything happening with zombies entering your field of view. This is something that could use a little clean-up before the game's final release. We do like some of the visual effects, though, like when you head into underground caverns and shine your flashlight on anything that lies ahead of you.
Dead Rising 3 should make a good addition to the Xbox One launch library when the system finally arrives this fall. Its technical performance may be questionable in spots, but when it comes to zombie carnage, its heart is in the right place – and we don't mean cut up in pieces on the floor.
