GamerHub TV was invited to the exclusive reveal OF WWE 2K14.
The team behind WWE 2K14 have been able to work continuously through THQ’s bout with the juggernaut known as bankruptcy. Animations for the wrestlers have been improved. While it is not the big jump that we are likely to see next year with WWE 2K15 on next generation consoles, improvements are noticeable from WWE 13. Entrances have also been completed re done for certain superstars, including The Rock and Dolph Ziggler. There are even Ziggler chants in the game to compliment his new good guy status. These changes are great, but most of the journalists who are fans of the series left the event a little disappointed at the lack of new features available at the demo. Fear not WWE Universe as 2K Sports has promised to reveal more information on the game soon, with the next big reveal including new modes and the full roster expected at WWE’s biggest party of the summer, SummerSlam in August.
SHOW...OFF
WWE 2K14 looks great. At first glance, it may not seem like a big leap from WWE 13, but going hands on with the game will change that. From a fan’s point of view, the improvements of the reversal system increase the pacing of the match and create a more enjoyable experience. While new details were scarce, the people at 2K Sports are focused on creating the best game possible. With the addition of the Ultimate Warrior to the roster, and more surprises to come in the future, the game appears to be a legend in the making. While the hottest wrestler in the WWE today (and his beard) has not been confirmed for the game, there is only one answer to the question if you should be excited about this game. YES! YES! YES!
