The upcoming games for the 3DS, Pokemon X and Y, have had new information revealed recently. Type reveals and new Pokemon are front and center for this update so without further delay, let's get right into it!
The types for the headlining legendary Pokemon for X and Y have been released. Xerneas, the box-art Pokemon for X will be a Fairy type Pokemon and will have an exclusive attack, Geomancy. It will also have an ability called Fairy Aura, which increases the power of all Fairy type attacks in battle, for you as well as your opponent so be careful. The legendary box-art Pokemon for Y, Yveltal, will be Dark/Flying and will also have an exclusive attack. The attack is called Oblivion Wing and its ability is similar to Fairy Aura. It’s called Dark Aura and boosts dark type attacks in battle, your team and the opponents.
It wouldn’t be a new Pokemon game without brand new Pokemon, would it? The Kalos region is home to several new Pokemon and they could be the best batch yet. Pangoro the dark/fighting type, evolves from Pancham and can learn the strong fighting move, Hammer Arm. Inkay, the dark/psychic, can learn Topsy-Turvey, a new stat-changing move that will reverse stats that were changed in battle. Inkay evolves into the Dark/Psychic Pokemon Malamar, who can use the classic Pokemon move, Hypnosis.
