We make our predictions on which assassins will challenge the Dark Knight.

Suicide Squad

Also known as Task Force X, the Suicide Squad is a group of villains turned government operatives that follow the command of Rick Flag and Amanda Waller. Portrayed to the public as reformed criminals turned government agents, the spuad complete black ops missions for the government. These missions normally resulted in the death or torture of their target. Deadshot, another name on our list, has often been a member of the team.

Which incarnation may we see of the Suicide Squad?

The Suicide Squad has had many different incarnations, and they always come in to conflict with Batman one way or another. With their leader Amanda Waller in possession of Batman’s true identity, she use this to her advantage to attack the Caped Crusader. With Batman gone, the Suicide Squad could complete their own sadistic brand of terrorism without opposition. Could Waller’s vendetta against the Bat bring the group into Arkham Origins?

Chances: 40%

Why: While the Suicide Squad has a colorful history, there may be too many versions and member to pin down for the game.

League of Assassins

The League of Assassins is the legendary society responsible for much of Bruce Wayne’s training in the martial arts. Their leader, Ra’s al Ghul, has been obsessed with Batman and even gave him the moniker “The World’s Greatest Detective.” The league has been a thorn in Batman’s cape for a long time. Seeing how Arkham Origins focuses on assassin’s attempting to kill the bat, it is almost a given that the league makes an appearance.

What role, if any, will the League of Assassins play in Arkham Origins?

While the league would make great enemies for Batman to take out and display his combat moves on, we are thinking bigger picture. We believe that Ra’s al Ghul is the man behind this attack on Batman and that possibly the assassins are competing for the throne of the League of Assassins and the hand of Talia al Ghul.

Chances: 90%

Why: You can not have a Batman game featuring assassins without them. Plus, Ra's has debuted in the Arkham cannon already.

Did your favorite assassin make the list? Please comment and tell us who you woule like to see in Batman Arkham Origins.
