We make our predictions on which assassins will challenge the Dark Knight.
Deadshot
One of the few assassin’s on this list that has already made his Arkham City debut, Deadshot is one the deadliest marksmen in the D.C. Universe. Making his debut in the 50’s, Deadshot was created by the legendary Bob Kane. Deadshot debuted in Gotham as a crime fighter attempting to take Batman’s place. Once his true intentions were discovered, he was placed in jail. He soon escaped and became a gun for hire.
Will Deadshot appear again in the Arkham Universe?
Deadshot is one of Batman’s oldest villains and an original creation of Bob Kane. It is difficult to believe that Arkham Origins would include assassins and leave the man who “never misses” out of the game. Deadshot is also already a part of the Arkham Universe, which increases the chances that he will be included in the game. Also, Deadshot is a huge part of the CW television series Arrow, which leads us to believe that Deadshot will have Batman in his sights in Arkham Origins.
Chances: 80%
Why: As one of Batman's oldest villians it is almost certain that Deadshot will appear in another Arkham game.
Talia al Ghul
Another character who already exists in the Arkham universe, we expect Talia al Ghul to be an integral part of Arkham Origins. Talia has long been believed to be the true love of Batman. Her love for the Dark Knight and her loyalty to her father has often caused her to be at odds with her own emotions. Also, wherever Talia goes, Bane is sure to follow. We have yet to experience a true battle between the Dark Knight and the man who broke the back of the bat. Talia is an expert fighter and the heir to the League of Assassins.
Will Batman's love will make another appearance in a Arkham game?
Her father believes Batman to be the true heir to his throne and wants him to marry his daughter. While Talia’s love is strong, her loyalty to her father has proven stronger. Talia and Bruce even share a son. Could her loyalty to her father force her to kill Batman for not accepting Ra’s offer to take over the League of Assassin’s?
Chances: 90%
Why: Talia is the heir to the League of Assassins and already a part of the Arkham cannon.
