With Easter coming, it got me thinking, who are the top 5 Easter Bunnies of the Gaming world?

#1 Peppy Hare- Star Fox franchise

And now we get to number one. Number one could be one of the most famous gaming rabbits of all time. Peppy was an original member of the Star Fox team, teaming up with James McCloud, Fox’s father before he went missing and was presumably killed in action. (for the few who haven’t played Star Fox 64, we find out that in theory, you could interpret that not do be true)Peppy was a close friend of Fox’s father and from time to time after Fox has helped Peppy out; he tells Fox that “your father helped me out like that too.” Much later, Peppy was recruited to join up with Fox’s team, along with Slippy and Falco, to deal with the issues of the Lylat system. One of the most iconic sayings of the game is his when you’re just learning the basics of the game and Peppy tells you to “do a barrel roll!” Peppy could be seen as a second father to Fox because he spent a lot of time with James, Fox’s father, and was good friends with him. He has the appearance of a rabbit and is seen as the elder statesman of the Star Fox team. In the more recent games he has assumed the roll of commander of the Cornerian Army and still advises Fox. Number 1- Peppy Hare

In conclusion, Easter is Sunday and I would like to wish everyone a happy and healthy one. Spring is in the air and it would appear that rabbits signal that as well. The Easter Bunny is one of the more “child friendly” holiday characters who is loved by children. Probably because he brings candy and shares candy with the masses of children. Long ears and hopping is pretty straight forward for rabbits. If you have these, like everyone on the list, then you’re ok in my book. It would appear that the list is made up of loyal rabbits who would do anything for a teammate or crew-member. Like I said, everyone have a Happy Easter and look out for the next “My Type of Countdown.”
