Dino-Mite!
It's that time again for a new episode of Chichuki Plays, the show where I go hands-on with upcoming games and show them off. Usually, it's about an hour or so but I don't want to spoil too much of the game for you. This time we're looking at Terrible Lizards on Steam.
Your car breaks down and it's gonna take some time to get a tow out to you. Next door you see an interesting dinosaur-themed location called Dalton's Dinos. Think of a roadside attraction starring dinosaurs. However, you make your way inside and no one's around. That can't be a good sign, right? Long story short, there is some black mold-like substance that's causing all kinds of havoc and since you appear to be the only one around, it's up to you to stop it.
I didn't know what to expect going into this game. I especially didn't know what to think after I had to restart the game because the title screen stayed on when the game started. Well, after that little blip, I have to say that I loved playing this game. It's an interesting idea for a horror game. I have to admit that I'm not the biggest mascot fan in the world. I really only go for my guy Mr. Met but I'm off topic. Exploring an abandoned dino theme park sounds like a crazy cool idea. There are moments when it is slightly difficult to tell where to go but there are some yellow markings to help out. I know some people might not like that but in certain areas, I was glad they were there.
I'm not usually into horror games but Terrible Lizards was a blast and I'm really looking forward to seeing more from the game and to get more of the story. Make sure you check out the hands-on video below.
