Answer that phone!

It's that time again for a new episode of Chichuki Plays, the show where I go hands-on with upcoming games and show them off. Usually, it's about an hour or so but I don't want to spoil too much of the game for you. This time we're looking at Schrodinger's Call on the Nintendo Switch 2.

I have to say that Schrodinger's Call is a very interesting take on the whole life vs death conversation. You play the role of Mary, who may or may not be dead, thus the whole concept of Schrodinger's Cat. I know of that theory from the Big Bang Theory TV show where there is a cat in box that may or may not be dead. Mary is the last Confidant where it's her job to play phone operator. Sort of like a spirit hotline, if you will. I love the idea that there are spirts in limbo that need a phone operator to bring them back to their senses or at least attempt to keep them as sane as they can be.

During gameplay, this was feeling like a graphic novel to me and that's a good thing. I liked the writing in the game as well as was getting to know Mary as a character and her situation! Along the way you'll take notes in your notebook so you can have vital information to help make phone conversations easy to deal with. That info could range as something as simple as a phone number to how the person is related to someone in their life.

I mentioned prior that Schrodinger's Call is an inventive look at life VS death. I liked the game and want to thank the devs for the review code.Make sure you check out the hands-on video below!
