Dino-Mite!
It's that time again for a new episode of Chichuki Plays, the show where I go hands-on with upcoming games and show them off. Usually it's about an hour or so but I don't want to spoil too much of the game for you. This time, we're looking at the Dinopunk the Cacops Adventure Demo. A dino who can shoot water and platform is OK in my book!
Let me start out by saying that this is an early build of the game and there will be issues with it. Case in point, I was stuck quite a few times trying to go into one of the levels on the world map. Being able to jump into water and shoot it at enemies is a cool idea and I'd love to see where it goes in further builds of the game. The boss fight with Saracocuchus Dundee, the Crocodile, was a cool fight where you had to pick up the pattern of the beast. The homage to Yoshi's Island on SNES was a nice touch in that battle as well. Then we get to the surfing mini game that had some great music. I was unable to complete the level so I heard that music a lot. The point system wasn't giving me the right points either but I'm chalking that up to very early builds of the game. Dinopunk the Cacops Adventure is shaping up to be an interesting platformer but this demo is an early build of the game so bare with it in that regard.
