Check out a new one from INTI CREATES on Chichuki Views!
It's that time again for a new episode of Chichuki Views, the show where I go hands-on with upcoming games and show them off. Usually it's about an hour or so but I don't want to spoil too much of the game for you. Today, we're checking out The Card-en-Ciel Demo on Steam from INTI CREATES.
I was lucky enough to play Card-en-Ciel at PAX East this year and really liked my time with the game. Fast-forward to the summer and the game's demo is available to play. The game will also be available to play on the Nintendo Switch so you'll have options to play. You can check out the Steam page with the link below.
You play the role of Neon, the Gaming Chain Detective, where he is tasked with solving an interesting case in a brand new game world. You'll also be able to build a deck of all kinds of fun characters found throughout the RPG roguelite. The voice acting in the game is really well done and I'm not going to spoil too much of the demo. The game speaks for itself and should be played to enjoyed. It reminds me a lot of old school Game Boy Advance RPGS like Digimon World combined with the Mega Man Battle Network games. You will need to come up with a good strategy to combat enemies and different deck-building strats.
