See what it would be like to have robots fighting in a war in Kriegsfront Tactics-Prologue on Chichuki Views!

It's that time again for a new episode of Chichuki Views, the show where I go hands-on with upcoming games and show them off. Usually it's about an hour or so but I don't want to spoil too much of the game for you. Today, we're checking out Kriegsfront Tactics - Prologue on Steam!

Kriegsfront Tactics - Prologue takes place in an 1970's Southeast Asia where you are tasked with leading a fighting force behind enemy lines. I'm not the biggest tactical role playing game fan but Kriegsfront Tactics - Prologue felt different to me. I found myself really getting into the story and wanting to know more about the command unit/characters. That being said, I felt most of the voice acting was very well done. I felt the same way about the graphics of the game too as it really felt like there were mech units fighting a war in the 1970s.

You will have to get good pretty quick since you get thrown into the action right away. During fights, you have different units that can do different things. You have a wide range of mechs that can do all kinds of things in combat. You might need a sniper to take out the final enemy or you might need a large bot that can rain bombs down upon the enemy. You will have to learn what works best and adapt. You will have to store attack power as well during missions because what kind of war would it be if you could use all your weapons all the time? You will have to use a strategy and plan an attack to win. That will range from staying under coverage in the jungle/woods to planning the perfect time to strike. There are counter attacks as well as dodging during combat. I had a tough time figuring out when an attack would miss and when you could actually counter attack.

You can attack to damage or attack to destroy enemy forces. You will be able to attack arms/legs/body of the enemy and again, you will have to be strategic in your fighting. One wrong move could be the end for you. You'll also be able to make your way to different locations and see more of the story and get to know more backstory for the characters. Learn how to use all forces because they could die in battle. Kriegsfront Tactics - Prologue is an interesting take on war and i'm interested in seeing where the story goes.
