INTI CREATES has a knack for combining the retro and the modern in a great package where it feels brand new. The company announced that the Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 1+2 Dual Collectionwill be released July 9th, 2026on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5,andPC (Steam). The release puts both games in the Luminous Avenger iX series as well as all the DLC and a new mode and making the game more balanced.

New to the Dual Collection, the "Endless Battle"mode will allow players to take on a never-endingchallenge. Configure the settings to your liking before facing off against an endless onslaught of random bosses.Each title also receives some balance update to upgrade the gameplay to be sharper and more accessible than ever, for new and old players alik.

Gunvolt Chronicles feels like a modern Mega Man X game so if you love that series, you would be doing yourself a disservice by not checking out the Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger series.
