If Dark Souls and retro gaming had a baby, you'd get the Legend of Nostalgaia!
It's time again for another exciting episode of Chichuki Views. This time, I'm checking out the Last Hero Of Nostalgaia on the Nintendo Switch. I remember seeing this game at PAX East a few years ago and loved the game. It's a combination between Dark Souls and old school retro games. I may not be the greatest "Dark Souls games" player but this game is a great idea. If you ever wanted to play Dark Souls with a character that looks like "Hangman," then this is the game for you. LIke most games like this, it takes a bit getting used to in terms of attack speed and controls but once you do, you'll be having great time. It did feel like the controls weren't as tight as they should have been in terms of using items at times and dodge-rolling. One of the more interesting things in the game is some of the weapons/gear in the game need a specific location to upgrade which is a cool twist to the concept of weapon craft. Make sure you check out the Chichuki Views video below for hands-on gameplay as well as my thoughts of the game.
