Battles, monsters, and new events oh my!
Plunge into epic adventure by sea and land in the Unknown Paradise content update for Fantasy War Tactics-R, the popular mobile strategy role-playing game (SRPG) from NEXON Korea Corporation, subsidiary of NEXON Co., Ltd. (“Nexon”) a worldwide leader in free-to-play online and mobile games. The update goes live today for new and returning players to download from Google Play and the App Store. Unknown Paradise offers Fantasy War Tactics-R fans grand-scale combat, fierce legendary monster battles, new gameplay systems, special events and more.
The Unknown Paradise update expands upon Fantasy War Tactics-R’s vast 12 regions and 180 dungeons, providing increased depth to classic SRPG mechanics, such as more than 50 heroes to command in unique, tactical grid-based PvP combat. The update’s new gameplay features and additions include:
Massive Boss Battles – Engage in epic boss combat on a scale never before seen in Fantasy War Tactics-R, such as battles with the fierce legendary Kraken, where players must brave the watery depths to emerge victorious;
Player Growth System – The update provides players a ‘Limit Break’ that increases the maximum level of awakening heroes, allowing for a rapid return to combat;
Impressive Original Hero – Enlist the imposing aquatic hero, Amora, who was created by the High Humans to guard the sea;
Strategic Skills and Runes – New gameplay features, such as the Core Skills and Parts systems will be accessible for Unknown Paradise, and the 4-Star Rune is back and more powerful than ever;
Special Events – From Thursday, Dec. 20 through Thursday, Dec. 28, participate in special events for rare and valuable rewards. Events include:
Unknown Paradise Score Achievement Event – Players server-wide work together to obtain a predetermined target score, where all participating players receive 3 to 4 Random Rune Boxes, a 4-Star Random Rune Box or Unknown Fruit;
Unknown Paradise Double Rank Reward Event – Rank up to 100 percent to earn up to 1,000 crystals;
Unknown Paradise Update Special On-time Event – Celebrate the epic update with special on-time gifts throughout the month, such as 300 to 500 Energy given daily; in addition to Crystals, 4-Star Random Rune Boxes or Perfect Genes earned Thursday through Sunday, weekly.
The Unknown Paradise update goes live worldwide today on Android and iPhone, and is rated E for Everyone (ESRB).
