Our preview of Splinter Cell: Blacklist by Ubisoft Toronto
I like the gameplay side that Splinter Cell Blacklist is doing. The stealth cover mechanic is back, SMI HUD, and the cinematic direction the game is taking. However the current problems like the enemy AI, and the nonsensical story keep me at the sidelines at the moment. We just witnessed the reaction to the Devil May Cry Reboot by developers Ninja Theory from fans. Why haven’t fans of the Splinter Cell series in an outrage about the recent changes to the stealth icon? Wouldn’t a reboot best suit this franchise needs at the moment?
