EA Sports' soccer series continues to dominate.
If you really want to take advantage of FIFA, though, you'll head online. Not only are there a bunch of competitors ready to eat you alive on the field (they don't all do, but there are some real pros here), but you can also work with friends in Seasons mode, through full co-op support. Other pro clubs and match types are also available, and you can always play unranked if you think you need to polish up your skills.
Throw in plenty of stuff you can unlock with points, like new animations and gear, and the return of some great Ultimate Team features, and you have a game that continues to be the pinnacle of soccer. FIFA 14 could still use some touch-ups – and might get them in the next-gen version – but, for now, if you're a fan of the sport, this is definitely the club to join.
