EA Sports' soccer series continues to dominate.
FIFA's commentary continues to be spot on, with good excitement between each of the announcers and different types hand-picked depending on which circuit you're playing in. The arena chants and small music bits are good fun as well, fitting right in to the soccer mantra that EA Sports was, ahem, shooting for.
As for the extras, there's plenty. A new Skill Games mode will test out your finest gameplay techniques, though some can be maddening, depending on what you're trying to do. You'll want to practice up to get the most out of them, but prepare for a challenge.
The career aspects are great as well. You can play management and guide your team to glory that way, or once again Be a Pro (or Be a Goalie) and lead your player down the primrose path to greatness. Both are especially deep, particularly with the Global Scouting Network, where you'll work with fellow agents and possibly recruit the next great soccer superstar. Possibly.
