With the touch screen on the Game Pad, you’ll be able to play Star Wars Pinball even if a certain father cuts off one of your hands.

Let me get these out of the way now: “These are not the droids you are looking for,” “The Force is strong with this one,” and “Luke, I am your father.” Now I can’t guarantee that there won’t be more Star Wars quotes or references in this review but let’s get right into it.

Star Wars Pinball is the next version of pinball from the experts over at Zen Studios. I haven’t played many pinball games that weren’t in an arcade but I was pleasantly surprised with the Star Wars version. Zen Studios did their homework for being a realistic feeling of playing pinball to the Wii U. The game has three tables to play at the start but you’ll be able to get more in the future. They were based off of Episode 5: A New Hope, The Clone Wars Series, and Boba Fett. Being able to play tables based on your favorite Star Wars moments just adds to the fun.

Star Wars is known for its iconic musical scores and the game is no different. The minute you start the game, you hear classic tunes from the mind of John Williams. You’ll also hear classic quotes from the various movies as time goes by on the title screen and the different menu screens. Presentation is key in Star Wars Pinball and the HD visuals add to this. While playing, you can perform different tasks to see different scenes from the movie the table is themed around.
