Vanillaware's action masterpiece has never looked – or played – better.
The music is also extraordinary. Though most of the tunes are taken from the original game, they sound remarkable when you're wearing a pair of headphones. The voicework is purely authentic too, sticking with traditional Japanese voicework instead of cheesy voiceovers. And those sound effects rock too, especially when your sword starts making really deep impacts. SLASH!
Whoever says the Vita doesn't have a lot of good games needs to wake up and check out Muramasa: Rebirth. This is easily one of the better offerings for the console, taking everything we loved about the Wii version and bumping it up magnificently. This sword is still as sharp as ever.
Now, about those HD versions…
