Is the sequel to J.J. Abrams' 2009 blockbuster worth the ticket price? Find out inour review!

Space, the final frontier. Those three words alone are legendary. That single phrase evokes adventure, danger, and the exploration of strange new worlds. Star Trek: Into Darkness takes this iconic phrase to another level. This sequel to the 2009 J.J. Abrams reimagining moves the franchise along in a big way. This film is bigger and better than the previous one, and that is saying something. While the movie does not boldly go where no Star Trek plot has gone before, the nods to the original series are abundant and entertaining. Is Star Trek: Into Darkness worth the ticket price? Find out in our review!

Who is John Harrison?

Star Trek: Into Darkness takes place only six months after the original. The Enterprise crew have been exploring space and attempting to help the galaxy and Captain James T. Kirk is as cocky as ever. The movie begins with a exciting chase sequence through a beautiful planet. A mysterious figure is racing through a red forest, attempting to escape the natives of the island. He is soon joined by another figure and they both are revealed to be Kirk and Bones. Their motives are unclear until Spock appears on screen.

Quinto's Spock is one of the best parts of the film.
