Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 has a lot of potential but fails to reach its target. Find out why in our review!
Gameplay in Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is fun yet repetitive. The AI in the game are smart and ferocious. They will attempt to find you and flush you out of your hiding spot. The enemies employ a variety of gunners, including snipers that are looking to take you out as well. The AI lends to the tense nature of the environment yet become repetitive as the game goes on.
This is awesome the first time you pull it off, but soon becomes repetitive.
When playing a game that involves any sort of gun, every gamer’s goal is to pull off the elusive headshot. It gives players a sense of pleasure to watch that pink mist spray from the back of their enemy’s skulls. Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 provides this experience perfectly, but you begin to pull off so many headshots that you become numb to the experience. The action becomes repetitive and loses the appeal very quickly. The same can be said about the story.
Sniper rifles will not be the only weapon you use, yet there is not enough variety in gameplay.
