The gameplay in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 is a true delight. Every golfer in the game has their own style and equipment that allows them to play in a unique way. No two golfers are exactly the same. The golfers in the game also look incredible. There were moments where I was truly awestruck by the level of detail of the golfers and the way they play. Players will have to take into account wind speeds, the strength and speed of their swing, and the type of club used. The gameplay is incredible and the options presented during gameplay help you achieve the perfect swing with the perfect speed. We reviewed the game on the Xbox 360 meaning the game boasts the label “Better With Kinect”. While the game isn’t better with Kinect, it is surprisingly fun. The amount of control you have over the game by simply using your voice or making a gesture is impressive. With the next Xbox console inevitably on the horizon, I hope that more games utilize Kinect in this way and maybe the claim on the box will eventually be true.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 is beyond expression. The game is a true love letter to the history of the game of golf and both its legends and modern day titans. While the game is not without its flaws, like the expansive menu options and long load times in between holes, they are minor gripes. The presentation and gameplay are superb. Also, with the mixture of professional golfers, legends, and celebrities there is something for everyone in this game. There is not a better golf game, and possibly not a better sports game on the market. This is the game that will make a fan out of anyone.
