Fans may still like the hack and slash action and the new characters, but it's a bit more technically messy than it needed to be.
Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper just feels like a rushed port in general. The Duel Mode is interesting, and seeing Momiji in action (alongside other female greats) is cool, but the lame graphics and lack of fundamental changes to the gameplay just leave this blade looking rusty. Maybe it's time to take the series in a new direction for the Wii U. Something that more involves the GamePad and isn’t so worried about staying pretty looking. Certainly didn't work here.
