Gamers can take control of thousands of DC super heroes and super villains in the new Scribblenauts game.
A new Hero Creator tool available on Wii U and PC elevates the game’s creativity by giving players the ability to produce their own Super Heroes or Super-Villains out of anything they can think of in the game. This could mean making a something like a potato, lobster or guitar into your very own customizable Super Hero; or, taking your favorite Super Hero and crossing his/her look and powers with others in the DC Comics universe to create the ultimate combination. Players can then share their creations online with friends and family.
“Scribblenauts Unmasked’s Hero Creator lets players bring out their inner super hero or villain by crafting completely original objects using any item from the DC Comics universe,” said Jeremiah Slaczka, C.E.O. and Creative Director of 5TH Cell. “They can assign unique properties to their creations and use them to solve puzzles, or share them online with friends – which they can use in game or further modify as they like.”
Expanding on the video game franchise’s innovation, Scribblenauts Unmasked features for the first time dynamically created puzzles called Heroic Feats that increase the game’s replayability by continuously generating original scenarios requiring different solutions with each visit. Every time a player goes to a world in Scribblenauts Unmasked they will have a unique experience that tests their creativity and wit in many different ways. They can then use the rewards they earn by solving the Heroic Feats to unlock new areas and avatars in the game and powers in the Hero Creator.
