Rayman, Sonic, and the Professor Layton/Phoenix Wright cross over highlight the future for the big N.
The Wind Waker HD retells the story of how Link (or Steve) met Tetra and traveled the seas looking for the Triforce. Not only will the Wii U version be in HD, the annoying parts of the Game Cube version, like sailing or triforce collecting, has been made faster and easier. The game looks great and you’ll see just how great in October. Speaking of Link, more information has been revealed about the newest Smash Brothers and an “old” new character. Luigi has been confirmed for both versions of Smash Brothers as a playable character and you can’t have a Smash Brothers game without Luigi.
The last bit of information was about Animal Crossing: New Leaf. The Miiverse community for New Leaf opened today and Animal Crossing Plaza was revealed. AC: Plaza is basically the Wii U menu plaza with Animal Crossing animals and interactions with them and other fans of the game. The Plaza will be available for a limited time and by limited, Nintendo means by the end of 2014 so have fun with it while you can. It was also revealed that on Aug. 9th, Nintendo will be having another Nintendo Direct pertaining to The Wonderful 101 so fans looking forward to that should catch that.
