Plenty of exciting new details about Batman: Arkham Origins awaited fans at this year's Comic Con convention.
Copperhead’s reveal wasn’t the only good news Warner Bros. had in store for Arkham fans. The team also shared two new costumes which will be available for Batman to wear once certain game conditions are met; Worst Nightmare Batman, and Batman One Million. Yes, you heard that correctly, the costumes will *not* be introduced via paid DLC but will instead be unlockable and usable within the game proper.
How the One Million costume will be unlocked is being kept under wraps but Holmes teased that the Worst Nightmare costume will only be granted to "absolute masters" of the game; a.k.a. those who manage to unlock every achievement/trophy. Both costumes look like they’ll be solid additions on top of the previously announced Adam West and Knightfall pre-order DLC costumes.
Holmes also had an answer ready when questioned about the possible inclusion of Batgirl and Robin as playable characters saying that, since Origins takes place during “year two” of Batman’s career, that Robin actually doesn’t exist at this point in the timeline but that the possibility of a Batgirl cameo shouldn’t be ruled out (and there’s nothing stopping Warner Bros. from putting either or both characters in as playable challenge mode characters similar to how Nightwing was introduced in Arkham City).
