One of the most beloved Nintendo RPG's is finally coming to the Wii U courtesy of the console's eShop.
Nintendo’s cult classic RPG starring young psychic protagonist Ness will soon be available via the Wii U eShop in both the US and Europe.
All of Earthbound’s glory can be relived for a measly $9.99 in the US, a European price will soon be confirmed as the game is not yet available on the eShop (but should be by the end of today). Nintendo is planning to honor the game’s original SNES release which came with a full-length strategy guide by making the guide available both online as viewable on the Wii U’s GamePad screen.
This announcement is undoubtedly a big deal for European Nintendo fans in particular since the original SNES version of Earthbound only ever saw a release in North America and Japan. Now European players can finally experience Ness’s humble beginnings for themselves.
