Run the company your way!
It's that time again for a new episode of Chichuki Plays, the show where I go hands-on with upcoming games and show them off. Usually, it's about an hour or so but I don't want to spoil too much of the game for you. This time we're looking at Holonoptic on Steam.
You are hired as the next CEO of the Glaziel Group. Think of this as an RPG and your company and employees are your stats/party members. If you have ever had the fantasy of running your own company, this could be the game for you. Be advised, it is a little over complicated, but when you figure things out, you'll have an interesting time with it.
You get to make all the decisions and said decisions effect your character. You'll have to think on your feet to make quick business deals like taking over a smaller company or hiring new staff. Lucky for you, you'll have Geist, an AI, to teach you the ropes. The game does a good job in showing you the day-to-day plans of a business and really makes you feel like the CEO.
You'll also be able to build new locations in your building as well as gather new equipment to make the job easier. You'll have to show the board of directors that you can run the company as well as be given more funding. If you look like a lame duck CEO, you could get the boot so be careful!
