Mad Max (Xbox One, PlayStation 4)
Warner Bros. already had a killer arsenal on the show floor this year, between Dying Light, Batman: Arkham Origins and Lego Marvel Super Heroes. But leave it to the return of the Road Warrior himself to make a strong impact. Mad Max, featuring an all new character in the role (sorry, Mel Gibson) and the insightful direction of the team at Avalanche Studios (Just Cause), is a beautiful yet harrowing introduction into next-gen, where you roam around an open world either on foot or a high-powered Charger, doing damage to whatever punks happen to get in your way. With a huge dose of action and breathtaking presentation, Mad Max will easily dominate the game market next year. Here's hoping the Thunderdome makes a return as well…
