My hands on at the Majesco meeting room taking in Phineas and Ferb: Quest For Cool Stuff and Zumba: World Party

Building off of the Young Justice: Legacy hands on I received, I also got the chance to demo other games from the Majesco family, Phineas and Ferb and Zumba in particular. Phineas and Ferb will have the same charm and sense of humor from the show since it has been written by Dan Povenmire and Jeff “ Swampy” Marsh, creators of the show. The development team at Majesco worked hand and hand with the writers of the show.

Phineas and Ferb are all about inventions and cool stuff like that. That’s why the title for the game is appropriate, seeing as though it’s Phineas ad Ferb: Quest For Cool Stuff. Players will play as stepbrothers Phineas and Ferb as well as their pet platypus, Perry, or as the OWCA or the Organization Without a Cool Acronym knows him as Agent P. Join Agent P as he tries to stop Dr. Doofensmirtz as he tries to take over the Tri-State area. If that doesn’t get you to play the game, play as Phineas and Ferb as they gather things for their Backyard Museum of Cool.

Phineas and Ferb are a little young to try to gather cool stuff from multiple locations, aren’t they? They are at least going to need some help and they’re in luck, all their friends are there to help they out. From Baljeet to Isabella, everyone that has played a part in the Phineas and Ferb universe could show up in this adventure, complete with the actors from the TV show reprising their roles for the game.  If you’re going to have voice acting, why not have the actual actors?

There are four levels in the game, Outer Space, Underwater, Ancient Temple, and the boys backyard. The backyard is where the museum of cool is and where the various friends could ask Phineas and Ferb to find things in a certain location. While they’re in a location, the boys will control the ATT or All Terrain Transformatron, which is upgradable by finding silver sprockets in each level. You can change the color of the ATT or what type of weapon it has.
