The most recent Nintendo Direct had the feel of an E3 presentation and it looked like Nintendo was treating it like their E3.
The last bit of news from the Nintendo Direct was news that everyone wanted to hear, a new Zelda game. It might not be in the form that everyone wanted but still it’s a new Legend of Zelda based in the land of Hyrule from the Link to the Past Universe. A Link to the Past is one of my favorite games and from what has been shown off so far, it looks like Nintendo has done the series justice in the next installment.
Granted, the demo videos going around the internet have only been a few minutes; the dungeon looks like it adds depth, with the help of the 3D, and it has that charm and feel that the Super Nintendo version had. The Nintendo Direct info could be just the tip of the ice burg with what Nintendo has up their sleeves. E3 is coming and Nintendo could/should be showing off some heavy hitters there so it’s going to be a fun time to be a fan of Nintendo.
