With the semifinals set, Hornswoggle continued to impress as he scored yet another upset by defeating former trophy winner JTG. Big E. Langston also continued his dominance in his first Superstar Challenge as he defeated Jimmy Uso. With the finals set, it was Hornswoggle taking on Big E. Langston for the championship.
After defeating two former champions, in a glorious defeat, Hornswoggle defeated Big E. Langston to become the new 2K Sports Superstar Championship champion!
