JTG and Kingston both made it past the qualifying round as they defeated the last graduate of the Heart Dungeon Tyson Kidd and The Miz’s former apprentice Alex Riley respectively. Also qualifying that round were Huncio and current trophy holder A.J. Lee’s associate Big E. Langston along with the twin brother tag team of Jimmy and Jey Uso.

The qualifying round also featured two big upsets as Rosa Mendes defeated self professed gamer and current WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn and the former Cruiserweight Champion Hornswoggle defeated the self proclaimed “Intellectual Savior of the Masses” Damien Sandow.

“I’m not going to make excuses for myself,” stated Kaitlyn who lost to Rosa Mendes in a record 20 seconds! “I’m going to say I am proud because I set a record!” Kaitlyn’s loss was still 2 seconds more than it took for Daniel Bryan to lose his World Championship at last years WrestleMania. (Sorry D-Bry, but you know its true.)

Rosa Mendes soon met her defeat in the semifinals as she fell to former trophy holder JTG. Other superstars that made it through the semifinals included Jimmy Uso, Big E. Langston and Hornswoggle who defeated former trophy winner Kofi Kingston!
JTG showed why he is a former challenge champion as he defeats Rosa Mendes.
Kofi Kingston took his loss to Hornswoggle with pride stating, “That’s the most cardio Hornswoggle has gotten in God knows how many years! He was out there working hard and he deserved it.”
