New phone will deliver CD-quality stereo over Bluetooth wireless.
The CSR aptX audio codec has again been adopted by Samsung to deliver CD-quality stereo over Bluetooth wireless connectivity for its latest flagship smartphone, one of the most highly anticipated products of its kind this year. The Samsung Galaxy S4 joins the rapidly expanding list of high-profile consumer electronics products that feature aptX technology including the HTC One, the Samsung Galaxy and the Samsung Galaxy S3 mini. Demand for the new HTC One phone has been high.
“HTC has seen unprecedented demand for and interest in the new HTC One, and the care taken to design and build it is evidenced in early reviews,” released Samsung in a statement. “The new HTC One will roll out in the UK, Germany and Taiwan this week and across Europe, North America and most of Asia-Pacific before the end of April. We appreciate our customers’ patience, and believe that once they have the phone in their hands they will agree that it has been worth the wait.”
