I Have the Power!

It's that time again for a new episode of Chichuki Plays, the show where I go hands-on with upcoming games and show them off. Usually, it's about an hour or so but I don't want to spoil too much of the game for you. This time we're looking at Barbarian Saga: The BeastMaster on Nintendo Switch 2.

Fans of anime and Metroidvanias will be in heaven playing Barbarian Saga. I love the way this game looks because at times it feels like you're watching an old school anime. The controls are a little floaty at times and the interactions between characters can be a bit long, but you can overlook it.

The game also gave off hack-and-slash vibes. I felt this because there were times where instead of dodging attacks, I was attacking quickly, like a hack/slash. You can also get a hold of different equipment, skills, items and more to help you in the journey. You get fast travel pretty early in the game and with how big the map is, you'll be glad you do. OH and did I mention the ladies are pretty hot! That might be the only thing some of you folks needed to hear!

I have to say that I'm looking forward to playing more of Barbarian Saga: The Beast Master. I have grown fond of Metroidvania games recently and this one feels like a great addition to genre! I'd like to thank the devs for a review code.
