Deckbuilders are all the rage!
Chugga Games is excited to announce that Slumber Realm is featured in the Steam Deckbuilder Fest, running May 4th - May 11th. To celebrate, the team has released a brand-new trailer and demo for players to try in the lead-up to launch later in 2026. Named one of the dice games to watch in 2026 by The Escapist - who called it "one of the best roguelite demos currently available on Steam" - and previously showcased at GDC 2026 and Tiny Teams 2025, Slumber Realm has been turning heads since its announcement.
What's New in the Demo
The new Deckbuilder Fest demo brings huge changes to Slumber Realm. Players can meet new characters, discover an expanded card pool to build their runs around, and experience an overhauled visual presentation with new art throughout. Pro Tip: Make sure you experiment with the order of your cards; you control this, and placement builds all sorts of wild chains. Also, high-five the sheriff and visit the shop! The new demo is now available to download directly on Steam.
About Slumber Realm
Close your eyes. In Slumber Realm, the battles happen while you sleep - and your childhood fears aren't going down without a fight. That includes the broccoli, the angry alarm clock, and a skeleton who chose the piano as their weapon of choice. Slumber Realm is a 90s-soaked dice roguelike where one roll triggers your entire build. Battle your childhood fears through dreamy combat sequences, chain wild synergies, and craft degenerate combos with over 150 equipment cards. Between runs, spend your hard-earned allowance decorating your crib with nostalgic 90s relics - retro games, rad movie posters, sick skateboards.
- Four playable classes to conquer your dream foes
- Over 150 equipment cards to unlock
- 30 memories to make battles easier - or weirder
- 60 different snacks to boost your runs
- 30-minute runs, try every combination
