Following its successful NES Kickstarter campaign last year, Echoes of the Unread, the upcoming musical adventure from Clever Cat Games and Mega Cat Studios, is coming to Steam via co-publisher 8-Bit Legit. Players can wishlist the game today.
To celebrate the announcement, the game’s co-publisher 8-Bit Legit has released a new trailer showcasing the whimsical storybook worlds Rhapsody will explore on her journey to escape the library and find her way home. These locales, each with its own colorful cast of characters to meet and problems to solve, include an eerie graveyard, a sandswept Wild West town, a watery fantasy world, and more. Echoes of the Unread will be released on Steam later this year.

Developed by Clever Cat Games and co-published by Mega Cat Studios and 8-Bit Legit, Echoes of the Unread puts players in the shoes of Rhapsody, a young girl who, after falling asleep while studying in the library, awakens to a strange world where the books have come to life and her voice has the power to shape the world around her with song.
To find her way back home, Rhapsody must step into the pages of these tales and explore a variety of imaginative realms where they’ll befriend a cowboy, serenade a mermaid, outsmart a mischievous ghost, and sing mystical melodies to escape the clutches of the wicked magician Odele, who hopes to keep her trapped in the library forever.
