Trading finally coming to the Mobile Trading Card Game!
It was announced today that the Pokemon Company is finally adding the "Trade" feature to the Pokemon TCG Pocket mobile game. This has been a feature that many players have wanted and are finally getting their wish. January 29th is the day so set your alarms trainers so you can trade with players for cards you don't have. However, there are some slight limitaions on trades.
Players will need to use two new items, trade hourglasses and trade tokens, in order to trade cards with a rarity of ♦1-4 and ★1 with cards of the same rarity. Upon release of the new feature, players will be able to trade certain cards from the Genetic Apex and Mythical Island expansions, with plans currently in place to expand the lineup of tradeable cards in future updates.
On January 30th, a new expansion to the TCG Pocket universe will make its way onto the app. Space-Time Smackdown will have Pokemon from the Sinnoh region and have Dialga and Palkia on the booster packs. New cards like Lucario and the Sinnoh starter Pokemon will be playable. I am a big Turtwig fan so I'm looking forward to adding that card and more to my collection. There will also be new binder and display board covers featuring the Legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia and the Mythical Pokémon Darkrai.
